Crazy Crackers Wins at Newcastle!
Elle-May Croot steered Crazy Crackers home in the apprentice handicap at Newcastle yesterday. This was Cracker’s first win, after being bought back in trip to 1m2f. He travelled well through the race to take the lead 3f out and when asked to quicken soon pulled away and went clear!
The four year old gelding was a €4000 purchase at the Arqana Deauville Summer Sale and despite going close last year that was a welcome win on only his tenth start.
