BROXI is a 6yo gelding by Kodi Bear and should be a really fun, sound, horse for somebody that enjoys going racing. If you’re looking for a Royal Ascot winner, this chap isn’t for you but I think his a smashing fun horse for the turf season ahead.
He has run 18 times on turf, winning on 5 occasions for his previous yard. Broxi appeared at the Tattersalls Horses In Training sales in Autumn 2023 and he was recommended to me by his previous handler, Dean Ivory.
We have found our feet with him and while we were changing stables, moving from Averham Park to Wiseton, and Broxi won for us in March, under my yard apprentice rider. That was over 7f on the all weather at Newcastle, but I regard him a better horse on turf with cut in the ground. I think he will be extremely well treated back on turf.
I’m looking forward to running him at quirky tracks like Catterick and Beverley. He is currently rated 51, and his last win on turf was off 65, so I hope his going to offer plenty of fun and a few trips to the winners enclosure before the season is out.
He is ready to run now and I’m happy to retain a share in him.
