Great Easter performance from Okeanos at Wolves, and well ridden by Luke Morris!
With no obvious pacemaker this always looked like being steadily run, and so it proved. OKEANOS came up against a well-handicapped one last time and, raised only 1lb, got off the mark in refitted cheekpieces. He benefited from getting first run but is lightly raced and can maintain his progress.
He took a keen hold, racing in second and always prominent over 5f out, taking the lead 1f out, and went into cruise mode to go 2 lengths ahead. His lead was , reduced towards the finish, but he was always doing enough.
