BROXI is a 6yo gelding by Kodi Bear and should be a really fun, sound, horse for somebody that enjoys going racing. If you’re looking for a Royal Ascot winner, this chap isn’t for you but I think he is a smashing fun horse for the turf season ahead. He has won five times from 18 runs on turf for his previous yard, and was recommended to me at the sales by his previous handler, Dean Ivory.

Broxi won for us in March, under my yard apprentice, over 7f on the all weather at Newcastle. I believe he is a better horse on turf with cut in the ground, and think he will be extremely well treated back on turf.

I’m looking forward to running him at quirky tracks like Catterick and Beverley. He is currently rated 51, and his last win on turf was off 65, so I hope he is going to offer plenty of fun and a few trips to the winners enclosure before the season is out. He is ready to run now and I’m happy to retain a share in him.

Star of St James is a 7yo Gelding by Equiano. He is a really fun, sound, horse who still has plenty of enthusiasm and ability.

He has really appreciated the return to the turf in May, with solid recent perfomances at Chepstow and Beverley, coming second on both occasions over a mile.

He should be a consistent soldier through the summer with a possibility of improvement once he steps up to 1m 2f.

He's well handicapped and I'll be disappointed if he doesn't put his head in front very soon. He is ready to run now and I'm happy to retain a share in him.
