Lawmans Blis does it again!!
It was a great night of racing for Team Furtado on Saturday, coming home with a 1st, 2nd and 3rd from our three runners yesterday evening!
At Wolverhampton, Lawmans Blis settled towards the rear mid-race, before making rapid headway coming around the home bend to take the lead, and he soon went clear to win comfortably over 1m6f in the capable hands of Dale Swift.
Over at Southwell, The Real McKay showed pronounced improvement in handicap company for the first time, finishing a very well deserved 2nd, only beaten 3/4 of a length under Trevor Whelan! Owners Stuart & Kate Dobb have plenty to look forward to from this daughter of Magna Grecia.
And finally, May Remain rallied to lead in the final furlong, but was just headed in the closing stages. Trevor Whelan produced another solid effort from the veteran, and the 9yo can hopefully continue to give a good account oh himself in similar events.
