A great day out for Team Furtado and MAGICAL MAX’s connections at Newmarket today. It’s been a while since he last got his head in front however he rallied on strongly under Ray Dawson to give his owners the win they have been waiting for – his first since joining the yard and taking his career total to 3 wins!
He had performed better at York on his previous start, so there was cause for hope today, and despite being slowly away at the start, this time he took the lead 2f out and ran on well to earn the win at HQ.
