Team Furtado have finished the Easter weekend with a bang!
Lincoln Gamble ran a fantastic race to win at Wolverhampton after his long absence. Racing without his front shoe, he made all the running, increasing the tempo 2f out and going clear. His lead was reduced inside the final furlong, but he kept on gamely and did well to fight off a couple of previous winners stalking him, with the three well clear of the rest. He’s a gutsy sort who’s won his last three over C&D.
In only his second race since 2021, Rocket Action took a massive step in the right direction to finish 2nd in an earlier race on the same card, after being unlucky early in the race, but that’s racing.
They both enjoyed a well deserved pick of grass when they arrived back from the races.
