ELECTRIC AVENUE wins on stable debut this afternoon at Newcastle. Making her stable debut in a first-time tongue-tie, she was held up in rear, she travelled well into the contest, and made steady headway throughout the race, closing down on the leader in the final furlong and staying on well to the line under Sam James. She showed a fine attitude to run down the favourite, and this was the perfect start for her new yard and Team Furtado.
